If you're looking for an MLB game to play this summer, make sure it isn't 2K12. This game is notorious for its poor gameplay and problematic bugs - the list is long and disheartening. It all boils down to one thing: Play smarter, not harder (or better yet, don't play at all).##End Copy As the final step of your blog post, you will need to publish it on Medium. To do so, click "Publish" in the upper right-hand corner of your screen after writing your blog post. It will then show up in your Medium home page in "Blogs". Other than the ratings, Responsive Media Group also provides an article-length review of the game. The main points are listed below (the entire article is available here): "Without question, 2K12 is one of the worst sports videogames in recent memory. It may even be the worst, but that's up for debate. I don't think it's possible to game-bloat your way into a title like this without having screwed up somewhere along the line. It doesn't matter if you're working with a conservative developer or an uncompromising one; you're still going to get crippled at some point. As it stands, there are too many fundamental problems with 2K12, quirks that are unforgivable. 2K12 is an absolute train wreck. It's a complete failure that some people will look at and think "great job, though", while others will bury their heads in shame for playing this game."As of July 13, 2010, "TechSpot" rated the PlayStation 3 version of the game at 5 stars out of 10 GameSpot gave the PS3 version 6 out of 10. GameSpot defended the game saying: ""2K12" tries to impress players with an impressive show before ultimately failing to deliver fun gameplay. The unrealistic approach to the game's graphics is certainly disappointing, though at least there is no loss of frame rate. For fans of the sport who are looking for a realistic baseball game, "2K12" just doesn't deliver. For everyone else, it comes down to whether you can look past the flaws in pursuit of a good time." GameZone gave the PS3 version 7 out of 10. GameZone defended the game saying: "Despite all its flaws, I can say that I had fun with this one once I got adjusted to its quirks. It has all the usual bells and whistles expected from a sports title these days plus some interesting options like being able to turn off breaking balls altogether. Obviously, there's a lot of room for improvement and hopefully next year's version addresses these problems and sets the bar higher than it currently is. So if you're looking for a solid baseball title but don't want to break the bank, "MLB 2K12" is your best bet." GameZone gave the Xbox 360 version 6.5 out of 10. GameZone defended the game saying: "There's no getting around it, this iteration of 2K sports titles has been a colossal failure in almost every way imaginable. Not only did it fail to live up to expectations, but in some areas it doesn't even stack up against last year's title in a major way. mlb 2k12 kbo cfa1e77820
